Laced Up was founded in 2016 by serial entrepreneurs Andrew and Phillip Pevzner, starting as a single sneaker and streetwear shop in Albany, New York. In June 2016, the brothers opened their doors with fewer than 100 pairs of authentic sneakers, no prior retail experience, and an unshakeable belief in the culture they loved. The original storefront was built entirely by hand — fixtures sourced from Craigslist, materials from Home Depot, and the help of friends and family.

What started as a small Albany sneaker shop quickly became one of the most trusted names in the streetwear world. Through years of relentless work, an incredible team, and a deep commitment to authenticity, Laced Up has grown into a 6-location retail operation spanning New York City, New Jersey, and beyond — with worldwide recognition and a team of over 40 passionate sneaker and streetwear experts.
